Gomonna

"Gomonna" is a collection of our favourite stories of seaweed from Cornwall, alongside tips on how you can bring seaweed into your own life. It is also full of pressings and images of seaweeds, collected on the south coast of Cornwall and from various Cornish archives.

The written records of seaweeds use in Cornwall are slim; we attribute this not to a lack of use, notice, and appreciation in the past but a lack of preserved records.​

Our research into the culutral history of seaweed is still on-going and we look forward to sharing further projects on this topic in the future.
